Big Boost For NCR Commuters: Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad Expressway Set To Open....Wait Over After 5 Years For....

The Public Works Department is preparing to launch the Faridabad–Noida–Ghaziabad Expressway soon. The project was announced in 2019 but the government has yet to finalise the agency for its execution. 

Faridabad–Noida–Ghaziabad Expressway is expected to launch soon. However, uncertainty remains regarding which agency will handle the project. According to the reports, The Public Works Department (PWD), Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA), and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) are among the agencies competing for the project.

 

A 600-meter-long bridge will be constructed over the Yamuna to connect both ends, linking to Mangroli village in Noida, facilitating improved connectivity between the regions.

 

This cost of this bridge will be around Rupees 500 crore but as per DPR prepared by the Public Works Department, the project will cost approx Rupees 900 crore. 

This project is going to provide relief to people travelling from Faridabad to Noida and Ghaziabad as it will make the journey comfortable and save commuters time.

 

The expressway will improve connectivity between Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad. According to News 24 reports, citing PWD, the 99-km route will begin at Greater Faridabad Sector 87, passing through Khedi Village to Yamuna Bank in Lalpur village.
