Here's how she won the title

Sindhu, who was playing her first final of a Super Series tournament, was leading 11-5 at first break in the first game.

She comprehensively went on to seal the game 21-11. Even in the second game, despite some early fightback from her Chinese opponent, Sindhu was leading 11-7 at the first break.

But Yu fought back hard and leveled scores at 14-14. But since then, there was a shift in momentum as the Chinese stepped up the gas and was leading 19-16 at one point.

She eventually won it 21-17. In the decider, Sindhu was leading 10-6, as her opponent looked out of steam.
