According to a report on India Today, Sakshi will marry Satyawart Kadian who is a wrestler from Rohtak.

"It was decided before Sakshi left for Rio Olympics that they will get married," Sachin, Sakshi's brother, said.

Satyawart's father Satyawan runs an akhada in Rohtak.

"They (Sakshi and Satyawart) are getting married and it will be a huge affair. Satyawart trains here in my akhada when he is not competing or in the national camp," Satyawan said.

Satyawart picked up a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. He also won a bronze at the Asian Championships in the same year.

Satyawart, who competes in 97kg category, is two years younger to Sakshi.
