New Delhi: In a bizarre incident, French race walker Yohann Diniz pooped himself before collapsing during at Rio Olympics 2016.

Diniz, 38, was competing in men's 50km walk final when his bowels suddenly turned on him.


Race footage showed Diniz struggling to continue as blood appeared to run down the backs of his legs.


Despite being forced to stop several times, the gold medal favorite and world record holder battled on.


Around the 36-kilometer mark, he collapsed. But he still managed to finished eighth, six minutes behind the winner.
