Paris: Second-seed Andy Murray produced a rich vein of form as he swept aside Borna Coric of Croatia in straight sets to progress through to the quarterfinals of Paris Masters on Wednesday.

The Britain number one overcame Coric 6-1, 6-2 in the second round that lasted for an hour.


Meanwhile, seventh-seed Rafael Nadal has also made it to the quarterfinals by defeating Lukas Rosol 6-2, 6-2.


Earlier, Nadal and his Indian partner Leander Paes were bowed out of the men's doubles event after suffering a straight sets defeat to the England- Swedish duo of Dominic Inglot and Robert in the opening round.
