Sasikala`s husband admitted to hospital with multiple organ failure

Natarajan, 74, has been admitted to Gleneagles Global Health City in Perumbakkam, where he is under intensive care.

Chennai: AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala's husband M Natarajan has been admitted to hospital in critical condition after multiple organ failure, a media report said.

The 74-year-old has been admitted to Gleneagles Global Health City in Perumbakkam, the Times of India reported.

Natarajan has been receiving liver treatment for the past six months.

"He is admitted at the Liver Intensive Care Unit with decompensated liver disease leading to liver and kidney failure and lung congestion.

“He is receiving dialysis and other intensive care therapies," TOI quoted a hospital statement as saying.

Natarajan had reportedly undergone a dialysis session for more than eight hours on Sunday.
