SHOCKING! Leopard climbs electric pole, chars to death in Telangana

Hyderabad: A leopard on Monday died of electric shock after it climbed an electric pole falling under the Mallaram forest area in the Nizamabad district of Telangana.

The leopard who was scorched to death had drifted into a human habitation. The locals informed the forest department, however, by then, the big cat had climbed the pole and got entangled with high voltage wires.

Officials suspect that the leopard came out of the forest in search of food. But, the reason why it climbed the pole is unknown.
