Four children drown in River Ganga

Bhadohi: Four children on Wednesday drowned in the River Ganga, police said.

The incident took place in Bhagawa village in Koirauna area when the four - Kismat (10), Khushbu (14), Urmila (8) and Vikas (8) were taking bath and one Urmila slipped into deep waters, they said.

The others drowned while tying to save her.

Their bodies were fished out from the river with the help of locals.The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
