Sambhal: At least six persons were dead and 13 seriously injured after bus collided with an Sport utility vehicle (SUV) in Gunnaur town in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal district on Friday morning.

The head-on collision took place between a Bolero and a Roadways bus on the Moradabad-Agra Highway.


"The incident occurred due to low visibility caused by fog," SP Sambhal Yamuna Prasad.


 The injured were rushed to Moradabad hospital. 


The bus was reportedly heading towards Delhi while the SUV was moving towards Nanital. 


As many as 19 people were in the SUV when the accident occurred.


On Wednesday, a seven-month-old baby died and around 48 people sustained injuries after a bus they were travelling in overturned on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. The bus was headed towards Bihar's Madhubani from Delhi, they said.
