State BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya made the announcement to media today. 


Earlier today, Modi addressed a mega Parivartan rally in Kanpur as part of party's campaign for assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. 


"My countrymen are going through some hardships due to demonetisation. This sacrifice will bear fruits in the future," PM Modi said. 


Modi also hailed the citizens of the country for assisting the government in its mission against corruption and black money as he said, "History will not record who was the Prime Minister who brought about this revolutionary change in eradicating corruption, but will praise people."


Reiterating his government's commitment to go after black money, the Prime Minister said, "Now we are using technology to track those who have stashed black money, we are vigilant and raids are being conducted country wide."
