UP CM Yogi Adityanath is all set to launch `Annapurna Bhojnalaya` to provide subsidised food to residents of the state.
Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath is all set to launch ‘Annapurna Bhojnalaya' to provide subsidised food to residents of the state.
Reportedly, the subsidised food will be for the students, people low income group in private sectors, workers and attendants of patients.
This amazing step by Yogi government has been welcomed by all.
What are the rates for lunch, dinner, etc?
UP people will get breakfast and refreshments at just Rs 3.
Dinner and lunch or full meal will be available at just Rs 5.
What all you will get in breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Breakfast menu includes idli, sambhar, poha, pakode, kachori and tea.
For lunch and dinner, people will be offered dal, rice, chapatis and seasonal vegetables.
Also, food will be served in steel plates and water purifiers will be installed in all canteens.
This means one can get three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for Rs 13. The government will incur Rs 48 on it.
How money will be paid for food?
Reportedly, the consumers will be issued pre-paid tokens and plastic cards to avail the facility.
Tokens will be valid for a week and plastic cards will be linked to Aadhar card.
Both the token and the card will be applicable in all the canteens of a city.
Pilot project
The pilot project will be launched in Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Ghaziabad.
Reportedly, 20 such canteens will come up in Ghaziabad, 28 each in state capital Lucknow and Kanpur and 18 in Gorakhpur.
