Indian govt caps the maximum price of Coronavirus vaccine for private hospitals

Amid allegations of profiteering by the opposition, the Center has fixed the maximum price that private hospitals can charge for COVID vaccines. Covishield has been priced at ₹780 per dose, Russian vaccine Sputnik-V at ₹1,145 per dose and indigenously manufactured Covaxin at ₹1,410 per dose.
