Railways recruitment: World`s largest online hiring saves 15 lakh trees

In one of the largest online hiring, the Indian railways has saved around 15 lakh trees. The railways decision to conduct recruiting process online has saved at least 7.5 crore sheets of paper which is equivalent to almost saving 15 lakh trees from the axe. Around 2.37 crore people had applied against 88,000 railway posts.
