DNA: Why is NASA preparing to save Earth?

Under the Dart mission, NASA has sent a spacecraft into space. This spacecraft will be collided with a meteorite circling in space. This collision will happen tomorrow morning at around 4.40 am. Through this, NASA wants to change the path of the meteorite.
