Ground Report: Situation deteriorates in Afghanistan, UNSC meeting to be chaired by India

The UN Security Council, chaired by India, will meet on 6 August to focus on the ongoing Taliban's campaign of violence in Afghanistan and ways to stop the attacks. The meeting will seek to carry forward the stalled Afghan peace process.
