65-year-old Darshan Lal, reportedly, would be looking after the co-ordination of four Pakistan provinces.

A doctor from Mirpur Mathelo town in Ghotki district of Sindh, Lal was elected the second time in 2013 to the National Assembly on PML-N ticket for a seat reserved for minorities.

The 'reshuffle' was aimed at intensifying support for the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ahead of the general elections in mid-2018, reported the Times of India.

The oath-taking ceremony of office to 47-member cabinet including 28 federal and 19 state ministers has been scheduled at President Mamnoon Hussain's official residence later.
