Sanju new poster presents `Jaadu Ki Jhappi` between Ranbir Kapoor, Paresh Rawal on Father`s Day
The makers of `Sanju` have released an exclusive poster on the occasion of Father`s Day.
New Delhi: The latest poster of Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming biographical film 'Sanju' is out.
The poster features Sanjay Dutt essayed by Ranbir Kapoor and his father Sunil Dutt played by Paresh Rawal reminiscing the famous 'Jaadu Ki Jhappi' from Sanjay's hit film 'Munnai Bhai MBBS'. Late veteran star Sunil Dutt had last appeared in the 2003 comedy-drama film, which was also directed by Hirani. The film went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year.
The photo brings back the memory of legendary actor and Sanjay's father Sunil Dutt.
The Kapoor lad has transformed himself so much so that for the film that it has become hard to make any difference between the reel and the real Sanjay Dutt. And this time too, it required a closer look to realise that its Ranbir and Paresh in the film.
Rajkumar Hirani shared the film poster on the social media and captioned it, "Here’s a Father's Day exclusive from #Sanju. #JaaduKiJhappi #RanbirKapoor @FoxStarHindi @VVCFilms #RajkumarHiraniFilms."
Noted trade analyst and film critic also shared the new poster of the film on Twitter, writing, "#JaaduKiJhappi... This pic brings back memories of Dutt Saab... New poster of #Sanju, featuring the father [Paresh Rawal] and son [Ranbir Kapoor]... Ranbir goes LIVE on @foxstarhindi, the Twitter handle of Fox Star Hindi, at 12 noon today."
The film will follow Sanjay's controversial life and the relationship he shared with his parents.
The glimpses from the teaser and posters have already intrigued the curiosity of fans of both Sanjay and Ranbir. The teaser and the trailer have already positive response and now all eyes are set for the film release. 'Sanju' will be hitting the screens on June 29.

'Sanju' has an ensemble star cast with the likes of Ranbir playing the titular role of Dutt. Apart from Ranbir and Paresh, the film also features Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Karishma Tanna, Jim Sarbh, Boman Irani to name a few.
