Apple signals March 21 as date for launch of new, smaller iPhone

California: Sending an invite on Thursday, Apple Inc has invited media to its California headquarters in what turns out to be an event for launch of a new, smaller iPhone.

Technology experts in media claim that Apple generally launches new products in such events and it can be an expected date to the launch of its flagship iPhone and iPad products soon.

Some Wall Street analysts expect the company to use the event to unveil a four-inch (10-cm) screen phone, reintroducing the smaller size after enlarging screens with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in 2014.
