New Delhi: Home grown handset maker Micromax on Thursday launched its flagship smartphone the YU Yutopia in India.


The phone has been priced at Rs 24,999.


It houses a a 21 MP rear camera, 3000mAh battery and a host of new-age features.


Branded as the world`s most powerful smartphone, Yu Yutopia comes with 5.2 inch sharp WQHD IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB DDR4 RAM and fingerprint scanner, the company said in a statement.


 


The new personal assistant "Around YU" provides a seamless experience that simplifies and saves a user time and effort to switch between plethora of apps.


Yutopia is equipped with a fingerprint scanner. Users can unlock the device with one of five stored fingerprints in less than half a second.


Additionally, the smartphone features an alert slider for quick access to custom notification settings.


Unprecedented on an Android device, the alert slider can silence the device with a simple click.


YU has also introduced an interesting "Assured Upgrade Programm" that will give any customer buying YUTOPIA an option of an assured upgrade YUTOPIA 2 in the future.
