New Delhi: Putting end to all the speculations around the next J series smartphones, South Korean Electronics manufacturer Samsung is all set to launch the 2016 Galaxy J5 and J7 in China, media reports have confirmed.


The company has listed both the smartphones in its China website. The Galaxy 2016 J7 and J5 are upgraded versions of the existing J7 and J5 smartphones that came last year.


The dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy J7 is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz coupled with 3GB RAM while the Galaxy J5 has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 2GB RAM.


Both the smartphones come with 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera and 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card)


The Galaxy J7 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolutions Super Amoled display while the Galaxy J5 comes with a 5.20-inch screen with 720x1280 pixels resolutions.


There is no word on the launch of these phones outside Chinese market as well as official price as of now. However, considering the constant demand for smartphones in emerging markets like India, it might soon hit stores.
