Samsung Galaxy S6 was considered the most impressive smartphone to have come out from the South Korean electronics giant but fans felt something was missing from it – a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Though the Samsung Galaxy S6 came with inbuilt memory of 32/64/128GB, somehow, some felt that something was missing from it. And if reports are to be true, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will bring back the microSD card slot with it for memory expansion.

However, there is no news if the Galaxy S7 would come with a removable battery as the S6 had a non-removable Li-Ion 2550 mAh battery.

According to Hdblog.it and its “reliable sources”, Samsung will add a microSD slot for adding extra storage to its Galaxy S7.

It further said that the Galaxy S7 will come with 5.2-inch display while the S7 Edge will come with a 5.7-inch display.

No further details were given of the smartphones.
