France, June 16: British manufacturer Bentley scored their first win since 1930 as Briton Guy Smith brought the number seven car home two laps ahead of the team's second entry. Kristensen, who partnered Smith and Italian Rinaldo Capello, created history as the first man to win the endurance race four years in succession following victory with Audi for the past three years. It was the first Le Mans victory for both Smith and Capello. The Bentley of Britons Johnny Herbert, Mark Blundell and Australian David Brabham completed a one-two for the team. The Champion Racing Audi, driven by Italy's Emmanuelle Pirro, Swede Stefan Johansson and Finn JJ Lehto, finished third, five laps behind the leader.
