Ind vs Aus: Harbhajan Singh in defensive mode as his predictions turn wrong
The news of Australia beating India by 333 runs came to the offie as a shock, in his defense Bhajji praised Steve Smith and his men while slamming the pitch curator indirectly through his tweets
New Delhi: India's senior off-spinner Harbhajan Singh predicted that India will continue with their unbeaten streak of 19 Test matches and will beat the Aussies 4-0. But with Steve O'Keefe's brilliant 12-wicket haul in the match and Steve Smith's century brought an end to Virat Kohli & Co's unbeaten run.
In an interview before the start of the series, Harbhajan said "I have played against some of the best Australian sides. In my opinion, looking at the composition, this is the weakest Australian side to tour India. I don't think this team has the wherewithal to cope with a quality Indian side in the Indian conditions. It can again be 4-0 like 2013 season."
While Turbanator was busy playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Punjab against Vidarbha, the news of Australia beating India by 333 runs came to the offie as a shock. In his defense Bhajji praised Steve Smith and his men while slamming the pitch curator indirectly through his tweets.

The senior off-spinner also congratulated the visiting team:
In the post match press conference, Smith took an indirect dig at Harbhajan by saying, "The pressure was on us. Everyone wrote us off and expected India to win 4-0. That can't happen anymore. It's great to have won this first Test match and there is still long way to go throughout this series. India are going to come back hard. I am really proud of the way the boys have played in this test match and go one-up in this series."
India will look to resurrect their chances in the series when the two teams meet at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru in the second Test match. It starts on March 4.
