New Delhi: As sport-stars in our country continue to wish our soldiers on the occasion of Diwali, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar too joined the ranks on Friday to wish the Indian Army who are protecting our country.


Taking to soldier networking site Twitter, Tendulkar not only wish the Indian Army but their families and the army family as a whole.


“Snow-capped mountains, blazing deserts, dense forests & a lot more couldn't stop them. Let us send our love & #Sandesh2Soldiers this Diwali,” (sic) he tweeted.


Then in a video, greeting the Indian Army, he send his wishes to the army family in general and their families in particular.


 



The Bharat Ratna Tendulkar is an honorary group captain of the Indian Air Force, which he was awarded in 2012.


With his wish, he joins the likes of cricketers Virat Kohli, Virendra Sehwag and boxer Vijender Singh in wishing our soldiers on the ocassion of Diwali.
