West Indies lost another wicket, in the form of Leon Johnson, but thanks to a resolute Darren Bravo, they managed to stop furthe slide in Dubai.


When the last day's resume tomorrow, the Windies will look to win, or at worst draw against Pakistan. For the hosts, Mohammad Amir took both the wickets.

Mohammad Amir sent back Kraigg Brathwaite in the ninth over, off the first ball, but West Indies have batted with responsibility. Leon Johnson and Darren Bravo would like to end the day batting.

Devendra Bishoo cleaned up the Pakistani tail with two wickets in the first over post Dinner, meaning, target is 345. Not bat a situation for the Windies considering how they were toyed in the first innings of the match.


Bishoo ended with 8 for 49, which is the fifth-best figures by a West Indian in Test cricket.

That's strange turn of events. Pakistan find themselves in a predicament. They have lost 8 wickets. However, the lead is 343 runs, with some 130 overs' play left in the match.

Two quick wickets for the visitors, 1st innings triple centurian Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq had been dismissed before Tea. From West Indies point of view Shannon Gabriel provided the breakthrough in the form of Azhar, they need to take wickets to stop the run flow

Not a single Windies batsman managed to reach the three-figure score, but majority of them got just about enough scores to help the team post a respectable total.
