MCD polls: AAP survey predicts BJP winning 202 seats?
The survey has left Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal scared, said Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal S Bagga.
New Delhi: Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal S Bagga on Monday claimed that an internal survey conducted by the Aam Aadmi Party has predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party will win more than 200 seats out of the 272 up for grabs in the upcoming Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Elections.
Taking to Twitter, Bagga claimed that the survey has left Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal scared.
The prediction of the BJP victory is the reason why Kejriwal has not released the results of the internal survey for the first time ever.
Here is what Bagga had tweeted:
The MCD polls, scheduled to be held on April 23, is seen as a prestige issue for the AAP, which is trying to save its face in the wake of the drubbing in the Rajouri Garden Assembly by-poll election.
The BJP had won Delhi's Rajouri Garden Assembly by-poll with a margin of over 14,000 votes, pushing Delhi's ruling AAP to a humiliating third spot.
