New Delhi, Dec 06: Congress tonight decided to suspend outgoing Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi following sensational allegation by BJP that he had attempted to bribe BJP MLAs to split the party and prevent its government from taking office tomorrow. "The party has taken a serious note of it and was sending a notice of suspension to Jogi," Congress general secretary Ambika Soni said shortly after Union Law Minister Arun Jaitley had made the allegation in Raipur.
Soni, however, condemned the use of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's name by BJP leaders in connection with the allegation and demanded that law should equally apply on former Union Minister Dilip Singh Judeo. Bureau Report
