Bagha, Apr 03: Bihar Nationalist Congress Party Vice-President Mohammed Salauddin and his five associates, who were abducted from Aurahiya area in Bihar's west Champaran district on March 25, have been freed after spending eight days in captivity, police said today. Police said the kidnappers released Salauddin and five others in a jungle near Madiha village in the wee hours of yesterday. Police suspected that notorious Rajendra Oroan gang was behind the abduction for ransom. The NCP leader and others were kidnapped on March 25 when they were going to attend a party meeting at Gobarahiya area of the district. Bureau Report
