Aug 16: Jacques Villeneuve hopes a hot race at next weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix can help him turn around his flagging fortunes. The Canadian has scored just three points so far this season and has been outshone by BAR team-mate Jenson Button. But the former world champion hopes his superior fitness will give him an edge at the Hungaroring. Meanwhile, the BAR team are to give test drives to two racers next month in a bid to find new talent. Arden Motorsport Formula 3000 team-mates Townsend Bell and Björn Wirdheim will be the first drivers to be given a chance.

Bell, a 28-year-old American and 2001 CART Indy Lights champion, and 23-year-old Swede Wirdheim, the newly-crowned 2003 F3000 champion, will both drive the BAR Honda 005 F1 car during tests in September.
