Jakarta, Feb 07: A private plane with three people on board crashed in the rugged mountains of central Indonesia, officials said. The Cessna 172 crashed yesterday on a training flight from the town of Semarang to Indonesia's capital, Jakarta, said police Sgt. Asep. Rescue teams were searching for the three people and the plane's wreckage, but have found no trace of them. Asep said flight instructor Capt. Berty and his two trainees were missing and feared dead. The search, he said, is concentrating on the area around mount Burangrang and Mount Ciremai in West Java, about 150 km east of Jakarta. Asep said flight control lost contact with the plane at about noon yesterday.
