Shah committed to dialogue
Srinagar, Aug 21: Prominent Kashmiri leader Shabir Shah today said he was committed to the peace process in Kashmir and would never back out from dialogue at any stage.

Kashmir and would never back out from dialogue at any stage.
"We will not back out from the talks. Government of India may (back out) as it has done with previous missions of K C . Pant and A S .Dulat," said Shah, the Chief of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party after an hour-long meeting with First Secretary of British High Commission David Quarrey and UK foreign office official Sinon Tonge here.
"As far as we are concerned, the talks have not reached a deadlock. We have accepted the invitation for talks (with the Centre) and I believe the schedule for a meeting is being worked out," he said.
Shah said he stood by the statement read out by M J Akbar, editor of Asian Age and a member of Ram Jethmalani's unofficial peace initiative called the Kashmir committee at a press conference here on Sunday.
