Thrissur, Nov 26: A three-day national seminar on 'Manufacturing Strategies for the 21st Century' would be held here from today under the joint auspices of the government engineering college here and the Institution of Engineers (India) Thrissur Centre.
Prof. K Vijayakumar, head of the college's production department told newsmen that Prof. K Prasada Rao, Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, would be inaugurating the event.
Papers on 'environmental engineering' and 'complexity faced in manufacturing of shells' would be presented at the seminar.
The silver jubilee of the annual technical essay competitions on national level conducted by the engineering college's production department styled 'Pinnacle' would also be celebrated in this regard.
