Raja Bhaiya`s judicial custody extended till July 19
Kanpur, June 19: A special court here today extended the judicial custody of Uttar Pradesh Independent legislator Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya till July 19 in a case under Gangster Act against him.
Kanpur, June 19: A special court here today extended the judicial custody of Uttar Pradesh Independent legislator Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya till July 19 in a case under Gangster Act against him.
The court also extended the judicial custody of two other accused in the case -- the legislators's father Udai Pratap Singh and MLC Akshay Pratap Singh.
In the absence of the designated gangster judge, additional district and sessions judge Ratnakar Dixit heard the case in the Central Jail and fixed June 24 for taking up the bail application of Raja Bhaiya.
While Raja Bhaiya is lodged in the jail here, his father was brought from Pratapgarh jail and Akshay Pratap Singh from a Mirzapur jail.
