Kuala Lumpur, Oct 28: Two Indian warships arrived in the Malaysian port of Klang today for a three-day goodwill visit aimed at promoting ties between the navies of the two countries.

The two vessels- destroyer INS Rana and missile
corvette INS Kirch - docked at port Klang, west of the capital
Kuala Lumpur, the official Bernama news agency reported.
The visit is part of Indian navy's goodwill call on
ports of friendly countries in the region, the Indian High
Commission said in a statement.
"The visit of the Indian naval ships will serve as a
important step in the direction of establishing beneficial
mutual relations between the two armed forces," it said.
The two ships have a crew of more than 600 officers and men.
