London, Aug 26: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has reached an agreement with the Nottinghamshire county cricket club for staging One-Day Internationals and Test matches at Trent Bridge from next year till 2011.
As per the agreement announced today, Trent Bridge will host the opening match of the NatWest Series between England and Zimbabwe on June 26 next year and it will be followed by the third test between England and South Africa from August 14 to August 18.
The venue registered capacity crowds during the matches played this year including the NatWest Series one-dayer between England and Sri Lanka and the second test of the ongoing series between India and the hosts.

"We are delighted Trent Bridge is the first test match ground to sign a long term agreement with the ECB and that cricket fans in the east midlands can look forward to annual international cricket through to 2011," he said.
Following today's announcement Nottinghamshire CCC will be selling tickets to its members from 23 September, and to the general public from October 7 for next year's international matches at Trent Bridge.
