Hyderabad, Nov 22: An agitated Andhra Pradesh Assembly was today assured that the government would use even Pota against those responsible for last night's bomb blast at a temple at the city's outskirts killing a person and injuring 21 others. Home minister T Devender Goud told the house 'investigation was going in the right direction and its results could be out soon'.
'We will firmly deal with the miscreants. Cases were registered under IPC and explosive substance act but we are ready to apply even Pota to sternly deal with them', he told the members.
One woman Padamma (52) was killed and 21 others were injured when a bomb, concealed in a milk can kept on a parked scooter, exploded at Sai Baba Temple at Saroornagar yesterday, Goud said adding the injured, including six women and three kids, were hospitalised.
Earlier in the day opposition parties moved separate adjournment motions demanding a discussion on the bomb blast issue which was disallowed by speaker Pratibha Bharathi, saying the home minister would make a statement later.
