New Delhi: Bollywood mega star Amitabh Bachchan attended an event for Tiger conservation recently. However, it seems that the whole session turned into a thanksgiving occasion – where ministries only ended up hurling praises at the superstar instead on focusing on the subject: wildlife conservation for tigers and other plans related to the same, as reported by DNA.

Now, it seems even Big B was a bit embarrassed with the truckload of praises he was given at an important event. He however, went on to share a poem written by his father and also released a book containing the pictures of all 35 leopards of Sanjay Gandhi National Park.

DNA quoted Stalin D, Project Director of NGO Vanashakti saying: “I was very disappointed at the event as the ministries were busy praising Bachchan and there was no mention of any plans. There was no talk of conservation, or of Mumbai's very own Flamingo Sanctuary.”

Various other wildlife enthusiasts and naturists condemned the whole session and expressed their utter disappointment.
