Two NDM legislators quit party in Nagaland
Kohima, July 08: Two legislators of the Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM) have quit NDM and formed a new party Nationalist Democratic Party, Nagaland Assembly secretariat sources said today.

Sources close to legislators Hukavi and Heno, who quit
the NDM yesterday, said the MLAs might join the ruling
Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN).
In the 60-member house, NDM was now left with only one member E T Ezung who was sacked from the ministry last month. NDM president and former chief minister K L Chishi said the defecting MLAs had not informed him about their decision.
