Hyderabad, July 16: After winning the coveted girls Wimbledon doubles title Sania Mirza's focus has now shifted to get a good coach and find some sponsors.
"Some names (of coaches) and institutions (sponsors) have come up during the discussion but things would take a final shape probably by this weekend," State Sports Authority (SAAP) top official told reporters here yesterday.
Mahesh Bhupathi, who runs Globosport and is coaching Sania at Bangalore, held discussions with the state officials on sponsorship and other aspects like identifying a foreign coach and the stint of training, he said.
"However, no final decision was taken and Bhupathi will be coming here for another round of discussions this weekend," he said adding Andhra Pradesh govenment would extend all help to Sania in pursuing her career.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had earlier announced that the state would work out ways and means to identify and engage a foreign coach for Sania, after she became the first Indian woman to win a grand slam title.



'IMG Nike' is one of the companies to have shown interest and the final details are being worked out, the offiical said adding the entire issue would be settled before the US Open.



Sania's father Imran Mirza said he had a couple of names in mind for coach, including the famous Van Der Meer who trained the legendary Billie Jean King.
