New Delhi, Dec 07: The outgoing Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi, who was suspended from Congress last night, arrived here this morning and met Ahmed Patel, political secretary to the Congress president. Jogi flew to Delhi from Raipur hours after the party took disciplinary action against him following charges that he offered money to the newly elected BJP MLAs to defect and form a break-away group.

Jogi's meeting with Patel took place ahead of the crucial meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) today which will analyse the poll debacle in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.
Congress has already made it clear that Jogi has been suspended and he could not attend the CWC meeting.
