Chennai, June 14: AICC secretary G K Vasan today hit out at Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa for her remarks that Congress president Sonia Gandhi was a foreigner and the AIADMK would not accept her for the post of prime minister. In a statement here, Vasan said Sonia Gandhi had been accepted as a leader by crores of Congress volunteers in the country. "To describe such a leader as a foreigner could not be accepted by anyone," he said.
"It is not befitting for the post of chief minister to make such a remark," he said.
