Mayawati files nomination from Akbarpur
Faizabad, Apr 05: Bahujan Samaj Party supremo and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today filed her nomination papers from Akbarpur (reserved) constituency here for the coming Lok Sabha elections.

Mayawati filed the papers before Additional District Magistrate (finance) Radheshyam Mishra . Considered to be a BSP stronghold, four out of the five assembly seats in Akbarpur Lok Sabha constituency are held by the party. One of them, Jahangirganj has been won twice by Mayawati. She has been elected to the Lok Sabha twice from Akbarpur in 1998 and 1999. Bureau Report
