Monrovia, Dec 16: More than 100 people were feared dead after an overcrowded boat capsized in northwestern Liberia, presidential press secretary Vanii Passewe said Monday.

Passewe said only 13 of the nearly 120 people on the boat survived after it sank on Saturday in the Grand Cape Mount County. He said about 50 bodies had been recovered, adding that the passengers were returning from the funeral of a young man. Bureau Report
