London, June 20: Harry Potter is a "very angry" teenager who has his first relationship with a girl in the new book "Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix," British author J K Rowling said today in an interview with a news agency. After three long years of waiting for Potter fans, the 766-page fifth installment in the Harry Potter series will finally go on sale midnight today in bookstores in Britain, the United States and around the English-speaking world. "Fame is a very odd and very isolating experience, and I know people crave it. I find that very hard to understand," Rowling said in an interview.
"I never wanted it and I never expected it and certainly didn't work for it and I see it as something that I have to get through really," Rowling said from her Edinburgh home.

Rowling, once a poverty-stricken single mother who is now worth an estimated 280 million pounds (470 million dollars) said that her wealth makes her feel guilty.

"This came to me through doing the thing that love doing most," she said, adding she didn't "suffer enough for it".

Rowling also confessed that one of the principal characters in the Potter series will die in "Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix." "This time it is someone I consider to be a main character".

Harry now "is very much in puberty, having as easy a time of it as I did," Rowling said,

"Yes, he's very confused in a boy way. He doesn't understand how girls' minds work..... This time Harry really, for the first time, does have a relationship of sorts.... I think you will find it painful, it is painful, but it was such fun to write," Rowling said.
"Poor Harry! What I put him through," she added.
