Apr 30: Hillary Clinton's much-anticipated memoir of her White House years, entitled "Living History," will hit bookstores on June 9, her publisher Simon and Schuster announced Monday. The former first lady -- now a US senator representing the state of New York -- will also narrate an audio version of the book, which is scheduled to go on sale the same day.
Simon and Schuster has planned an unusually large first print run of some one million copies for the hardcover book, at a cover price of 28 dollars. Clinton was paid an eight-million dollar advance for the memoir, which is being billed as a candid account of her often tumultuous eight years as first lady. Bureau Report
