Washington, July 23: Outgoing US ambassador to India, Robert Blackwill is likely to move to the American National Security Council as a strategic counsellor to the National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, media reports said today.
"There are more signals" that Blackwill is moving to the national security council "to become strategic counsellor to the National Security Advisor, the Washington Post said describing the position as "one of the biggest and most volatile portfolios around." Blackwill, it said, will be in charge of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. Bureau Report
