Kolkata, Feb 03: Altogether 18 teams would take part in the 16th All India Postal Cricket tournament to be held here from February 3 to 7. The tournament, to be played on knock-out basis under the rules and regulations as laid down by cricket board, would be held at the Kolkata Maidan Grounds, the organisers said.

Teams from various postal circles all over the country, including Jammu & Kashmir circle and the army postal team, would be seen in action during the tournament, the final of which would be played at the Eden Gardens, they said. The Tamil Nadu circle had won the tourney while Delhi finished runners up in 2001-2.

Hosts Bengal had last clinched the title in 1999-00. Bureau Report
