Jaipur, Apr 03: Facing criticism for holding darbar in his official residence, Rajasthan Governor Madanlal Khurana on Friday said he would hold an all-party meeting over the Garib Sunvaye and Sahayata Kendra he had started in Raj Bhawan to help poor people.
The Governor has accepted a suggestion by leader of the opposition BD Kalla for calling an all-party meeting to discuss the functioning of the 'kendra' where Khurana distributes financial assistance to poor and needy people, an official release said.

The meeting of representatives of all political parties would be called after Lok Sabha elections and concrete and practical suggestions received in it would be implemented, it said.

The release also clarified that Raj Bhawan had nothing to do with the Rs 1 crore financial help to poor and for children' development, announced by spiritual leader Asharam Bapu during his discourse in Jaipur last week.
The money would be spent by a committee of disciples of Bapu and Khurana would function only as its patron guiding force, it added. Bureau Report
