Probe begins into Taj express highway project
Ghaziabad, Oct 02: The judicial commission set up to inquire into allegations of malpractices in the Rs 2500-crore Taj express highway project has commenced its probe into the ambitious scheme launched by the erstwhile Mayawati government.

"Former Chief Minister Mayawati will be summoned to know the details if required," retired High Court Judge S R Mishra of the one-man commission said yesterday after arriving at Noida Development Authority office.
Senior official in the Taj express highway project Ravi Shrivastava said all relevant documents will be provided to the commission in a day or two.
Mishra will complete the probe within two months. The Mulayam Singh Yadav government announced the probe on September 26 saying it had received several complaints regarding malpractices in the allotment of land and bidding by private parties. Bureau Report
