Allahabad, Feb 21: Congress president Sonia Gandhi today blamed the NDA government's wrong policies for the alleged plight of weavers, farmers, labourers and youth in the country. Sonia, while talking to newspersons said the weaver community was the worst affected in the country. While the prices of raw materials has increased manifold, exports had come down considerably, she complained.

The farmers, on the other hand, were burdened with financial hardships and being forced to adopt other means of livelihood.
The Congress leader also said that her visit to various places in the country was not ''roadshow'' as being circulated by the media. ''I am directly meeting people and hearing their problems. It can be called a public contact campaign and not roadshow as being reported,” she clarified.

Countering the BJP's claims of a ''feel good'' factor in the country, she said the campaign launched by the BJP was misleading people on the truths about the economy and society.
She claimed that all sections of the society were feeling frustrated under the NDA government's misrule.
